I am also able to send out a limited set of signed copies for all of you, my fans! You are all welcome to get signed copies, even if you're a new fan. Just make sure you get your order in on time. It must be done through the order form on this website by November 15th at 11:59pm EST.
Here's how it will work: Once the deadline passes, I will order the number of books I need from the publisher for you all, sign them, and mail them out to you. All U.S. domestic and most* international orders will be delivered by Dec 25th!

Q: Where can I view the project?
A: There are three ways to view the drawings:
1) Subscribe to join my email list, following along with me and my family for an entire year. Join our inner circle. You'll receive the daily drawings in your email inbox each morning (except weekends).
2) Or follow me on social media (instagram and facebook) to see occasional posts. Unfortunately, you won't be able to change your mind later, to join the daily email group, after open subscription has closed.
3) Or just wait until the year is finished, when I will either release them in a book, or share a set of the drawings publicly all together at once, much like I did with the drawings of me and my wife from the last project. I drew every day for a year, using Tumblr to send the drawings as email attachments to a group of subscribers. After the year was finished, I publicly shared a set of the drawings of me and Jordin all together in one post. I hope to do something similar this year, after the year-long project is complete.
Q: What is the deadline to subscribe?
A: January 31st, 2017 at 11:59pm EST.
Q: What if I miss the deadline?
A: :( I will hopefully do another open subscription window of time at some point. Please join my general email list to be notified when that happens. Otherwise, you can continue to follow me on social media for occasional highlights!
Q: How often will you draw?
A: I will draw 5 days a week, for one year. With kids, a wife, and a ‘real job’, I decided not to draw on the weekends this year.
Q: When will I receive the drawings?
A: I will email you the drawing the day after I draw them. This means, because I am drawing Mondays through Fridays, and sometimes draw late at night, you will receive drawings Tuesday through Saturday.
Q: What do your drawings look like?
A: If you have stumbled upon any of the articles sharing the drawings of me and Jordin, those all came from the last daily drawing project I did. To get a feel for what a daily drawing project looks like, review my last daily drawing project, which lasted from March 4th, 2011 to March 3rd, 2012. Q: What will you draw?
A: I don’t know! When I first did this project in 2011, I gave myself no rules other than to draw something, anything, every day. What came from it was many drawings of me and Jordin and our life together. That is what is exciting to me. “What will this year’s drawings contain if I draw something every day? I don’t know!” I don’t plan to put any rules on it, just to see what comes of it… That said, my life looks pretty different now than it did in 2011. I expect to be greatly influenced by my kids and wife, and I plan to share everything I am influenced by, giving everything I can through this medium. I expect to pour myself into this year of drawing, and I honestly am looking forward to seeing what comes of it.
Q: Can I share the drawings with my friends?
A: If you are a subscriber, I do not mind if you post a drawing you received in an email to social media when it speaks to you. In fact, I would encourage it! That is what we do when we see art we resonate with. We show people. That said, please do not automate or manually publish large sets of drawings. This daily experience is meant for me and my subscribers, in an intimate email-only environment.
Q: Will you share these images publicly?
A: I will try to occasionally share on facebook or instagram, so I don’t disappear from internet existence, but I have never been a very consistent person on social media. I also hope to share a large set once at the end of the year. These may also contribute to a book of some sort in the future.
Q: What is the personalized sketch?
A: This is a custom sketch I will make for you and/or your loved one(s) based on a photo from you. I have never made this an available offer in the past, although I’ve been asked many times! Commissioned personalized sketches are not something I can keep up with regularly, but for this one time window during the open subscription, I am making it an option.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: Unfortunately, no. The “team” for this is just me, drawing in my spare time, and I will be drawing every day without a staff to manage the email list and process refunds. My advice if you are unsure whether or not you will enjoy this experience, is to simply subscribe at the monthly $2 level, so that the most exposure you have is $2. You may cancel at any time.
